Organizations in Barstow do not always have a business electronics recycler nearby. Retired computers, monitors, printers, and networking equipment can remain in storage because transporting a large load down the I-15 corridor is not practical for employees.
A&H IT Renew has already made that trip for a Barstow organization, providing electronics recycling and data destruction. The project demonstrated how a carefully planned pickup can connect High Desert organizations with secure processing in San Bernardino.

Barstow is a city built around movement. With Interstates 15 and 40 and Highways 58 and 247 converging nearby, transportation operations, schools, government agencies, healthcare providers, and local businesses depend on computers, networks, printers, monitors, and specialized electronics.
When those systems are replaced, the result is rarely one device. Technology upgrades can leave several departments with mixed equipment, cables, battery backups, and data-bearing computers. A&H IT Renew helps organizations combine those items into one coordinated recycling project instead of leaving them scattered across offices, classrooms, and storage rooms.

Because Barstow is farther from our San Bernardino facility, a successful pickup begins with careful preparation. We confirm the equipment types, approximate quantities, pickup address, onsite contact, loading access, and scheduling requirements so the correct vehicle and crew arrive prepared.
On pickup day, our team works with the site contact, moves the equipment from the approved collection area, and loads it for transport. Advance coordination helps limit disruptions to daily operations and reduces the possibility of an unnecessary return trip across the High Desert.

After equipment leaves a Barstow facility, A&H IT Renew maintains control during transport to our San Bernardino facility. Computers and other data-bearing devices are inspected and recorded. Hard drives and SSDs approved for destruction are physically shredded at our facility, making the stored data impractical to recover.
Organizations can receive a serialized Asset Inventory and Data Destruction Report, with a Certificate of Destruction available upon request. Remaining equipment and materials are evaluated for reuse, refurbishment, remarketing, or responsible downstream recycling based on their condition.
Distance should not leave unwanted electronics sitting in a Barstow storage room. If your business, school, government agency, healthcare facility, or nonprofit is planning an upgrade, relocation, or cleanout, A&H IT Renew can review the equipment and determine the available pickup options.
Send us the pickup address, onsite contact, equipment types, estimated quantities, and photos when available. We will evaluate the project, confirm loading access and documentation needs, and discuss service for Barstow and nearby High Desert communities such as Lenwood, Daggett, and Yermo.
